Get started with SonicClout in minutes

This guide will help you get started with SonicClout, a decentralized social content platform built on Sonic, the first chain extension on Solana.

Prerequisites

• A Sonic-compatible wallet (Backpack, OKX Web3, Nightly, etc.)

• SOL tokens for gas fees

• Creator account (optional for content creation)

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

1. Visit sonicclout.io

2. Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner

3. Select your Sonic-compatible wallet

4. Ensure your wallet is set to the Sonic network

5. Approve the connection request in your wallet

Step 2: Explore Available Content

After connecting your wallet, you can:

• Browse tokenized content from creators

• View trending posts and popular creators

• Explore available content tokens for trading

• Interact with the HyperGrid ecosystem

Step 3: Trade Content Tokens

1. Navigate to the "Trading" section

2. Select a token pair from the available options

3. Enter the amount you wish to trade

4. Review and confirm the transaction details

5. Approve the transaction in your wallet

6. Experience Sonic's high-throughput, low-latency transactions

Step 4: Create Your Content (Creators)

1. Visit your profile page

2. Click "Create New Content"

3. Upload your content and add relevant metadata

4. Set tokenization parameters (supply, name, symbol)

5. Confirm the creation by approving the transaction

6. Your content is now tokenized on the Sonic chain

Step 5: Set Up Vesting (Creators)

For creators who want to set up token vesting based on social metrics:

1. Go to the "Vesting" section in your profile

2. Click "Create New Vesting Schedule"

3. Select the metrics (followers, views, likes)

4. Set milestone thresholds and corresponding token percentages

5. Confirm by approving the transaction in your Sonic wallet
